‘Supporting entrepreneurial businesses’
hub South West Scotland is a public – private partnership that enables cost-efficient design and construction of community infrastructure within Lanarkshire, Ayrshire and Dumfries & Galloway.
Each year, they host the Hub South West Scotland Business Growth Programme across their three regions, supporting entrepreneurial businesses looking to grow in a sustainable manner by building the skills and internal capacity to take on increasing volumes of business.
The programme is supported by Tier 1 Contractors including Kier, Morrison, Graham, Morgan Sindall and Ashleigh, ensuring the businesses both learn from them, and are added to their supply chains as well as the Hub's.
‘Focussed on collaboration’
Hub South West is keen to support local sustainable materials within their supply chain partners and asked Kenoteq to design Awards for each territory, reflective of their commitment to recycling the local pound, encouraging small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to be involved in programme delivery, thereby generating economic growth and regeneration within the local economy.
The beautiful awards made from Kenoteq's perforated K-BRIQ®s embedded in recycled timber are all made from Scottish construction and demolition waste as well as locally sourced recycled pigments.
The hub model is focused on collaboration and it has established a new regime of collaborative working practices which has successfully brought together public sector bodies and private companies to deliver real savings and tangible benefits to local people and businesses across the South West of Scotland.
