Lightweight, versatile & cost efficient, discover the K-SLIP™ - available to order now
The K-SLIP™ gives a surface appearance of a brick but with significantly less volume, weight and carbon, making them particularly suitable for external facades and for offsite and modular construction. Pairing with fixing systems is currently underway. They are also popular for interior features, surfaces and walls to maximise valuable floorspace whilst reducing costs and carbon and promoting an industrial or sustainable aesthetic.
What makes a K-SLIP™ visually interesting is its range and finish: although almost indistinguishable from a brickslip in terms of size and form, it offers a wide colour palette and a subtly varied texture and tone due to its recycled content.
The new cut-face K-SLIP™ offers an alternative terrazzo aesthetic, exposing the recycled content to a greater extent for even stronger storytelling of its rich history.
The cut-face K-SLIP™ will be available in 2 depths, 20mm and 10mm where a slimmer tile is required.
It can be used for a terrazzo aesthetic or mixed with our standard K-SLIP face for further versatility.
Our products are coloured using recycled pigments. The K-SLIP® has been tested for UV colour fastness in accordance with BS EN 20105-A02:1995/ISO 105-A02:1993.
The colour range tested, including all colours in the K-SLIP™ palette, indicated that the product goes through slight to no colour change when exposed to UV conditions, and performs better than most masonry.
For the interiors market currently, Kenoteq can also offer the possibility of bespoke colour development. Suited to larger projects, this brings colour matching opportunities as well as greater aesthetic versatility.
