‘breathing new life and vibrancy into refurbished buildings’
Kenoteq’s second project for Gail’s Bakery, a striking facade of Cyan Light K-SLIPS™ facing the long geometric lines of the serving counter, brings vibrancy into a refurbished building in Weybridge, Surrey.
Embracing an eco-conscious mindset, the choice of materials highlights Gail’s Bakery’s commitment to sustainability, which also feature recycled tiles and wood wool acoustic panelling.
When designers, Holland Harvey Architects developed the concept for the Weybridge bakery, they were inspired by the historical charm of nearby Brooklands Airfield and the geometric architecture of the existing building. They have used the geometric lines of the K-SLIP™ to enhance both the counter, seating blocks and seating backdrops.
The overall design is delicately softened and enriched by the addition of homely touches, creating a space that feels both welcoming and warm. Splashes of blue and copper throughout breathe life and vibrancy into the atmosphere.
